de
Tiefenbrunnen en el Lago de Zürich
Marina and Nautical Centre of
Tiefenbrunnen in The Zürich Lake
Zürich, Switzerland
Second Prize, Competition
*in collaboration with Xmade GmbH
Con la idea de abrir la
ciudad de Zúrich al lago,
el proyecto transforma la
zona costera del antiguo
puerto, actualmente
cerrada al público, en un
enclave permeable, centro
de actividades náuticas y
foco de atracción social,
gastronómica y cultural. La solución arquitectónica
se apropia de un paisaje
artificial existente de
mástiles, cables y pequeños
engranajes suspendidos,
adoptando como referencia
la ligereza del tensegrity,
liberando toda la superficie
del muelle y optimizando
el espacio público.
With the idea of connecting
the city to the lake, the
project transforms the
coastal area of the old
port, currently closed to the
public, into a permeable
enclave for nautical
activities and social
gathering, with cultural
programs and restaurants. The architectural scheme
proposed seizes the
existing artificial landscape
of masts, cables, and small
suspended gears, adopting
as a reference the lightness
of the tensegrity, freeing
up the entire surface
of the dock and optimizing
the public space.
